Meet Casey Coleman, LPC, LMHC
Virtual Perinatal Therapist in Texas & Florida
Specializing in EMDR, IFS, Breastfeeding Grief, and Identity in Motherhood

Motherhood isn’t just a new chapter—it’s a whole new book. And somewhere between the clogged ducts, sleepless nights, and trying to do everything “right,” you may realize: you’ve lost track of who you are.

As a perinatal therapist licensed in Texas and Florida, I support moms navigating the complex emotional terrain of postpartum identity, breastfeeding grief, birth trauma, and the myth of “doing it all.” Whether you're in Austin, Orlando, or curled up on your couch somewhere in between—we’ll work together virtually to help you feel more like you again.

I specialize in using IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR to help mothers heal the unspoken grief and invisible wounds that often show up after birth. If you’re holding on to beliefs like “I’m a bad mom,” “I failed because I couldn’t breastfeed,” or “I should be able to handle this,” I’ll help you safely unpack those burdens and reconnect with your truest, most grounded Self.
My approach is warm, direct, sometimes a little humorous—and always human. In our work, we’ll explore:
-
Healing from breastfeeding grief, birth trauma, or medical trauma
-
Letting go of perfectionism, pressure, and unhelpful core beliefs
-
Reclaiming your identity beyond motherhood
-
Understanding the emotional roots of anxiety or high-functioning postpartum depression
-
Shifting from survival mode into confident, intuitive parenting
Because healing isn’t about “bouncing back”—it’s about coming back home to yourself. It’s about finding your “pink” again, just like flamingos do after motherhood drains their color. We’ll get you there—with compassion, clarity, and just enough irreverence to make it bearable.

Whether you’re navigating new motherhood in Austin, TX, Orlando, FL, or anywhere else across Texas and Florida, I’m here to walk with you through it.
Let’s make space for the grief, honor the growth, and help you feel whole again—not in spite of motherhood, but through it.
